Sport Methodology LAB: A Meeting Point for the International Swimming Congress in Getxo

Getxo hosted a new edition of the International Swimming Congress this weekend, bringing together professionals, coaches, and specialists from across the sector for sessions dedicated to knowledge, training, and the exchange of experiences.

Sport Methodology LAB played an active role in the event, becoming one of the venues supporting the congress and hosting several meetings among attendees.

One of the weekend's key highlights was the presentation of the Getxo Swimming Method & Tech project, an initiative designed to advance swimming instruction and technical development through a structured methodological approach. The project aims to organize and structure the training process, establish shared objectives and content, and make it easier to monitor swimmers' progress.

Luis Llopis also visited Sport Methodology LAB over the weekend. This provided an opportunity to show him firsthand the work carried out at our facilities and exchange experiences on methodology, training, and sports performance.

These were intense but particularly rewarding days, during which we were able to share knowledge, discover new perspectives, and continue building collaborative spaces around sport.

At Sport Methodology LAB, we would like to thank everyone who joined us over these days, as well as those who sent us their congratulations and expressions of appreciation.

We would also like to thank Getxo Kirolak, Getxo Igeriketa, the Spanish Association of Swimming Coaches (AETN), and Luis Llopis for taking part and helping make this special weekend possible.
